About the disaster

Me, my husband, and our pet shark, Frank.

Prior to blogging about the disaster that is my life, I was living it. I left the high-paying, yet tedious world of Finance for the low-paying, yet tedious world of Food. Don’t get me wrong – I love cooking and I love food! The question is whether or not they love me back. The jury’s still out on that one…

I wish more people thought like you in my corner of the land… oh well

  6. Mindy, the greatest meal I ever learned to prepare in a restaurant was fresh Mako Shark caught off Long Island in the 70′s. You can grill it like a salmon-steak, and if you ever get it as fresh as we did, you will remember this amazing taste forever.
